Youth Slips Into Power Canal While Trying to Save Another in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, Jan 31 (KNC): In a tragic incident, a youth reportedly slipped into the Power Canal in Ganderbal while attempting to save another individual, officials said on Saturday.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the incident occurred when one youth tried to rescue another near the canal. During the rescue attempt, he lost balance and fell into the fast-flowing water.
The official further said that one individual has been traced and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while another youth is still missing.
Rescue operations are underway to trace the missing individual, and further details are awaited. (KNC)
