District Administration, Budgam & District Police Act Tough Against Drug Peddler’s
Four Illegal Properties of Drug Peddlers Demolished in Khansahib Sub-Division*
Budgam, July 17: The District Administration Budgam and District Police Budgam, today demolished four illegally constructed properties belonging to drug peddlers in Khansahib Sub-Division as part of the ongoing anti-drug drive in the District.
The demolition was carried out in the Parnewa and Arigam areas of Khansahib Sub-Division in the presence of the concerned revenue and police officials.
During the operation, three structures comprising four shops, a cowshed and a tile factory were demolished. The action was taken as part of the sustained campaign being undertaken by the District Administration and District Police to dismantle the illegal assets of individuals involved in drug peddling and to curb the menace of narcotics in the district.
The District Administration is committed to continue sustained action against drug peddlers and all illegal assets linked to the drug peddling.
