725 KGS OF UNLABELLED HONEY SEIZED IN ABANSSHAH AREA VIOLATION OF FSS ACT
Acting on specific intelligence, the Food Safety Enforcement Drug and Food control org , today carried out a targeted inspection in Abanshah Area HMT and seized approximately 725 kilograms of honey found stored without any statutory labeling.
– Complete absence of mandatory labeling including:
– Product Name
– Net Quantity
– Date of Packing / Manufacturing
– Best Before / Expiry Date
– Name & Address of Manufacturer / Packer
– FSSAI License Number
Storage Instructions (if applicable)
– Entire stock seized
sample collected for analytical purposes
